| each piece is handcrafted by me from .999 Fine Silver, which is more pure than sterling (.925). called Precious Metal Clay, it is actually micro fine particles of recycled silver suspended in a clay-like binder. I mold, form and sculpt it into my design, then fire it at 1300 degrees to burn off the binder and fuse the particles together. my design is then tumbled to polish and strengthen it and an antique patina is added to bring out the details. finally, it is hand polished to a beautiful shine. |
